Trail Lookout Blank Greeting Card

Trail Lookout is a striking seven-color reduction linoleum block print of a lookout over Lake Huron from a cedar-lined trail. The print was created in a repetitive carve-print cycle in which every new color must be carved out of the block. The heat of an impending sunset can be felt through the print's warm hues, and invokes feelings of contentment and excited anticipation. While the cedar trees reveal the Mackinac Island-inspired origin of the design, the print maintains a universal forest appeal.

This print is particularly special to me because it won the Mackinac Island Contemporary Art Exhibit in 2019. I am still so shocked and honored to have received that award! While I sold out of the originals pretty quickly, I am so happy to be able to offer it as a card, which continues to be a best seller.

SIZE:  A6 Card (4.625" x 6.25")

PAPER:  100% recycled 80 lb. soft white speckletone paper with vellum finish. Archival, acid-free and manufactured in Niles, Mich., by French Paper Mill without the use of chlorine. Matching envelopes.

Boxed sets of six cards are packaged in a Kraft paper box made from recycled materials.
