Refund policy

Returns of In-Store Purchases
Main Street Art accepts returns in the following manner per item type:

Fine ArtReturns are accepted within 7 days of purchase and are eligible to receive a full refund.
Gift ItemsReturns are accepted within 14 days of purchase for store credit or exchange only.
Custom Items (including commissioned fine art or gift items, and custom framing) - These items are not returnable and are FINAL SALE. 
Items on Sale - These items are not returnable and are FINAL SALE.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. For instance, earrings must be attached to their cards with backings.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food cannot be returned. Gift cards are also non-returnable.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Defective or Damaged Items
Defective or damaged may be replaced according to the return timeline indicated above. For shipped orders that have arrived damaged, please send us an email at natalia@mainstreetartmilford.com and send your damaged item to: 304 N Main St, Milford, MI 48381, United States. 

Gifts
Gifts may be returned according to the return timeline above. If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipped or Online Orders 
To return an online or shipped piece of fine art or gift item, please call Main Street Art at 248-684-1004 within 14 days of the package's arrival. Returns are processed once item is received back in our possession. Full refunds of the product only (does not include the original price of shipping paid) may be granted. 

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Main Street Art does not ship custom framed pieces, nor is Main Street Art responsible for damage that may occur to a custom framed piece during shipping. Instead, we recommend speaking directly with a specialty art packaging service such as Zatkoff (https://www.zatkoff.com/) or a shipping service such as UPS or FedEx for appropriate packaging and shipping insurance. 

Holiday Breaks or Other Interrupted Business Days
If the deadline to return an item falls within a Main Street Art holiday break or otherwise interrupted business days, the return deadline will be pushed the exact number of days that Main Street Art was closed for business.
