Customer Spotlight
★★★★★
"I had been searching for a framing shop that could handle large silk artwork properly, and after talking with Sue, I knew my art was in good hands. Not only did she make sure I understood the process for how she was going stretch and handle my piece, but her eye for detail and choosing colors for the mat and frame helped bring my art to life."

Frequently Asked Questions

If you want to protect and display your needlework, you must also frame it. Framing your needlework with archival, conservation-grade materials shelters your work from harmful agents such as dust, bugs, UV light, acid & more.
-
How much will it cost to frame my needlework?
Framing costs can be incredibly variable due to its custom nature. We can find great options in almost any budget. Pricing is based most on size; professional mounting (i.e. lacing); and mat, frame and glass choices.
-
How long will it take to frame my needlework?
Most needlework takes 3-4 weeks to professionally lace and frame. Special accommodations can be made for rush jobs.
-
What styles of frame options are available?
From Mid-Century to Farmhouse to Industrial to Maximalist & more, we have frames for every style. Let us help you put your art on center stage!
-
Do I need to make an appointment?
We highly encourage making a custom framing appointment, which you can find here. However, we always accept walk-ins and would be glad to help you anytime!
-
Is there room for my beads & 3D elements?
Decoratively placed layered mats, fillets and spacers are all ways our designers work to make sure your 3D elements such as beads never get smushed by the glass.
-
Do you iron or clean needlework?
Ironing and cleaning needlework requires specialized skill that we encourage our clients to find cleaning professionals for.
However, we can find ways to hide stains on vintage pieces with custom mat design.
-
Do you frame my type of needlework?
We have framed the following types of fiber arts: cross stitch, embroidery, needlepoint, silk embroidery, mola, doily, lace, crochet, punch needle, sampler, rug hooking, and more. We would love to help you find a solution for your piece!
-
Is the framing removable?
Yes, all of our fiber arts and needlework framing is 100% removable by disassembling the frame package and cutting the lacing.
This means that no adhesives touch the fabric, which can lead to discoloration and damage to threads.
