Mend on the Move is a Metro Detroit nonprofit that employs women who are abuse survivors. The women hand make the jewelry in small batches using repurposed automotive parts. Each piece they make has a one-of-a-kind name, inspirational words along with product details, and maker signature on the back of each package.
