It is a tale of love and loss, desire and death. Peony in Love is an intricate original drawing which was ultimately put together using many digital layers.

About the Artist:

Amy Ferguson graduated in 2015 with a B.F.A. in illustration from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit. While she lives in Metro Detroit, she says her "spirit lives in the Leelanau peninsula in Northern Michigan where spent summers at her family cabin on Little Traverse Lake – swimming, hiking, and helping ride all the horses on her aunt’s farm. Almost all prints are signed A.Marie instead of Amy. This is in tribute to her grandmother Mimi, who always supported her and would have loved to be here to see Amy pursue her dream of being a successful artist.
The artist has won several awards, including First Place - Great Lakes Art Fair 2019 and Award of Excellence in Drawing – Ann Arbor Art Fair 2018.
