DESCRIPTION

• Special Edition Framing – Matted with a chestnut silk mat with a reverse bevel oval-shaped opening. Slits in the mat also allow a real piece of the Mackinac Bridge to emerge and frame the print. The piece rests within an industrial floater frame. A second industrial frame contains glass and lined sides and rests on top of the floater frame to finish the piece. The two frames are held together with inset rare earth magnets and can easily come apart for access to the bridge grate.

• Relief Printmaking – Created by carving out the detailed white (or negative) space on a single linoleum block.
