Mackinac Day is an original oil pastel painting by Lily Niederpruem of Chicago and Mackinac Island. 7 x 7 in.  Framed in a gray moulding with Conservation Clear glass to protect the artwork from fading.

About the Artist:

Lily was born and raised in Northern Michigan and attributes much of her creative inspirations to the adventures of her childhood growing up on Mackinac Island – a place where she believes the spiritual and natural worlds seem to be separated only by a thin veil.  This landscape formed her artistic identity and led her to a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Michigan School of Art and Design.  Her work explores concepts of the spiritual, the natural, and moments of their interaction. Lily’s award-winning oil paintings have been in numerous juried exhibitions, invitationals, and is on permanent display in the lobby of Mission Point Resort, Mackinac Island, Mich.
