Collection: Mary Bea McWatters - Acrylic

Mary Bea McWatters is a Michigan artist known for her vibrant, nature-inspired paintings that celebrate the joy and beauty of sunsets, wildflowers, trees, waves, and landscapes. She earned her BFA in Art and Design from Northern Michigan University in 2006. After graduating, she spent eight summers on Mackinac Island where she cultivated beautiful gardens surrounded by bikes, blooms, and the sparkling waters of the Great Lakes. This experience deepened her love for capturing the natural world through paint.

Now living and working full-time in her hometown of Petoskey, Mary Bea finds inspiration along the shores of Lake Michigan and the winding trails of Northern Michigan. Whether painting in her Bear River studio, chasing sunsets by bike, or exploring nature with a paintbrush or camera, she is continually inspired by the world around her. Her art is a reflection of the beauty that surrounds us, lives within us, and enriches our everyday lives.
