The tile looks great framed in a premium 2 inch flat quartersawn White Oak frame. There's a notch on the back for hanging. The decorative tile is made of American stoneware, handcrafted in Petoskey, Michigan, and suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.

About the artists:

Cora Smith and her colleagues at Little Traverse Tileworks work in the classic Arts & Crafts style and begin each tile with a design either hand carved in plaster or sculpted in clay developed in Michigan.  They draw from natural images such as maple leaves, sailboats and local lakes to develop designs that resonate in tile.
