Patti Wylie

About the Artist:

Patti Wylie from Commerce Township, MI creates vibrant and original art using alcohol inks. She enjoys watching the ink flow across the paper.  Crafting with her mother as a child sparked her love for creativity, and she has passed it on to her artistic daughter.  Alcohol ink painting is a free flowing and unpredictable art form which makes it a welcome change from her rigorous, intense daily work as a dentist.

It took a couple of years of trial and error, and lots of practice, for Patti to develop her style. Color is a passion of hers and mixing them in unique ways brings her joy.  The colors and patterns of alcohol ink are very calming and people have commented on the sense of peace that they bring.
