Collection: oil paintings

Heiner Hertling of Howell, Michigan, embraces the visual arts as an oil painter and sculptor. From intricate detailed realism to bold colorful impressionistic paintings nothing in the arts is off limits to the highly-acclaimed artist and host of “Brush with Nature.”  His work reflects his love for open spaces, wildlife and nature. Painting Plein Air in sub-zero temperatures with hearty friends is to him as satisfying as painting on a beach or beside Michigan's Huron River on a sunny summer day. Heiner decided to paint and sculpt for pleasure vs. business after working as a graphic artist in the advertising arena for 20 years.  The following paintings are from his plein air collection, many feature scenes from Kensington Metropark and the Huron Valley area.

Gail Hayton earned a degree in Architecture with a minor in art.  She specialized in miniature paintings featuring strong light, vibrant colors and interesting architecture and nature scenes. her award-winning artwork has been exhibited in The Smithsonian in Washington D.C., the Scarab Club in Detroit and the Manoogian Museum on Mackinac Island. Publications include Ford World, Top 100 Artists in Huron Valley, American Art Collector and The Scarab Club.
