About the artist:
Gail Hayton makes her home in southeastern Michigan. She has a degree in Architecture with a minor in art. Gail worked as a quality engineer for Ford Motor Company for 24 years leading to an obsession for detail that translates to her work. For the past 25 year she has specialized in miniature paintings of all kinds. Strong light, vibrant colors and interesting architecture attract her attention.
Gail's work has been exhibited throughout the United States at many prestigious galleries including The Smithsonian in Washington D.C., the Scarab Club in Detroit and the Manoogian Museum on Mackinac Island. She has won awards for her miniature work in Washington DC at the Miniature Painters, Sculptors and Gravers Society for which she is a member by invitation. Publications include Ford World, Top 100 Artists in Huron Valley, American Art Collector and The Scarab Club
