Michigan Tray

This handmade porcelain tray is great as a spoon rest, a soap dish, a mini server for nuts and candies, or somewhere to set your jewelry or a tea bag.  Each tray is approximately 4 x 5 in. The colors and patterns vary. Food-safe glaze.

About the artist:

Brooke Peiffer of Dimondale, Mich., is a part time ceramic artist, part time high school ceramics teacher, and full time mom.  For as long as she can remember, she has been fascinated by the animals, plants, water, rocks, and dirt of this amazing planet.  In fact, her love of the Earth came before her love of art, though the two are deeply connected.  She is inspired by things that make her feel small, but deeply connected to everything, ranging from an amazing sunrise to the tiny mushroom and lichen clusters growing on the shady side of a fallen tree.
