About the Artist:
Lynne Ellyn considers herself a “Renaissance” photographer – focusing her skills on her passion for all flora and fauna. In her studio, she enjoys producing “painterly” flower portraits. Her work also showcases horses in their natural element – capturing their grace, strength and soulful eyes. As a member of the Equine Photographers Network, she travels the world to photograph horses.
Lynne began a lifelong love affair with photography in 1993 while taking private lessons in Rochester, NY, – the home of Kodak and several community dark rooms. After retiring from the corporate world, the avid photographer earned a post graduate certificate in Photography. She shares her techniques for creating "Painterly Flower Portraits" during Midwest Photography Workshops and teaches Basic Photography at Florida Gulf Coast University.
