About the Artist:

Artist Mimi McHale’s natural born inclination to color outside the lines has been her guide to imagine – and then interpret her version of what she is painting – instead of creating a literal photographic copy of a subject. She believes this allows the viewer to use their own imagination regarding what they are looking at. Known as a “colorist”, Mimi is able to paint what she sees with enhanced colors and shapes using brushes, palette knives and anything else that makes a shape on a canvas.
