6x6 Mackinac Bridge - Lake Michigan Blue decorative tile by Little Traverse Tileworks.
A 6×6 tile depicting the suspension bridge that connects the Upper and Lower peninsulas of Michigan. It is hand carved and hand pressed. The tile looks great on an easel, framed alone or with a collection of tiles. There's a notch on the back for hanging. The decorative tile is made of American stoneware, handcrafted in Petoskey, Michigan, and suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
About the artists:
Cora Smith and her colleagues at Little Traverse Tileworks work in the classic Arts & Crafts style and begin each tile with a design either hand carved in plaster or sculpted in clay developed in Michigan. They draw from natural images such as maple leaves, sailboats and local lakes to develop designs that resonate in tile.
