4x4 Sunflower - Tile

4x4 Sunflower Tile - decorative tile by Little Traverse Tileworks. 

This handmade tile is made of American stoneware and looks great on an easel, framed alone or with a collection of tiles.  There's a notch on the back to hang it without a frame. Made in Michigan.  Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.

About the artists:

Cora Smith and her colleagues at Little Traverse Tileworks work in the classic Arts & Crafts style and begin each tile with a design either hand carved in plaster or sculpted in clay developed in Michigan.  They draw from natural images such as maple leaves, sailboats and local lakes to develop designs that resonate in tile.
