2x2 Acorns - tile

2x2  Acorns tile by Little Traverse Tileworks in Harbor Springs, Michigan. The decorative tile is made of American stoneware, handcrafted in Petoskey, Michigan, and suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.

There's a notch on the back for hanging.  It's also great for installation, this repeating pattern tile would work perfect for a very creative backsplash or fireplace surround.

About the artists:

Cora Smith and her colleagues at Little Traverse Tileworks work in the classic Arts & Crafts style and begin each tile with a design either hand carved in plaster or sculpted in clay developed in Michigan.  They draw from natural images such as maple leaves, sailboats and local lakes to develop designs that resonate in tile.
