Poppies - screen print

 Poppies by Stacey Malasky of Detroit, Michigan.

Three-color screen print on 100# fine art paper made in Michigan by a family-owned paper mill. Printed by hand in Detroit with all eco-friendly non-toxic inks.  Made from original drawings. Each print is unique because they are all hand pulled by the artist.  Available as a original print (20 x 24 in.) packaged in a clear bag or custom framed with off white archival mat board in a wood black frame with red accents made in Italy. Finished with conservation clear glass, Kraft dust cover and hanging hardware.  Frame finished dimensions 19 1/2 x 21 in.

About the Artist:

Stacey Malasky is the founder and former owner of a community screen printing shop and artist's collective in Detroit's Cass Corridor. The illustrator and screen printer has pulled a lot of squeegees in her while making art. Her other passion is beekeeping.  At one point, she tended more than 30 hives and taught beekeeping classes in Detroit.
