Maeve Croghan says the beauty of the Great Lakes and Mackinac Island's forest became a part of her soul as a young child. Now as an expressionist nature painter, she strives to convey her feelings of awe, wonder and joy of nature while painting amazing places. The award-winning artist’s work has been featured in juried exhibit throughout the country as well as part of the permanent collections in Japan, San Diego, Calif., Anchorage, Alaska, and Los Gatos, Calif. Her work also graces the wine bottle labels of Georges Duboeuf winery, in France and Castoro Cellars in Templeton, Calif., and pages of art books. Maeve earned a BA in Art and Education from the New College of Calif. She shares her time between two studios located on Mackinac island, Mich., and in San Francisco.
